I joined VOCAL to re-address the wrongs with the present sentencing regime
In April 1999 my daughter Nicky was brutally murdered. My plea is for changes in sentencing laws. It is time the scales of justice were tilted in favour of the Victims instead of the criminals. We need the government to protect the concerns voiced by the Victims and the Community.

in July 2001 my granddaughter Beanca was tied up and abused for six weeks, she died aged 18 months. I want to see child abuses serving sentences that reflect the gravity of the crime committed. It is time we realised our Children are our greatest assets. We need the Government and Society to get tougher on Criminals, and allow Victims to have a louder stronger voice.
In the 80's I was assulted. I became disillusioned by pathetic sentences and the systems poor attitude to Victims. I joined VOCAL with Howard Bratten OA. He led the charge of Victims Rights. I want to let people know the legal profession belong to them not the criminals. We need to demand changes.
